The Funniest Moments From Disney+'s "Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and The Winter Solider"
I know I can’t be the only one who has become completely invested and/or obsessed with the friendship between Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan – or should I say Captain America and the Winter Soldier? If you’re anything like me, you were in total denial when the first season of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” ended. However, a small ray of hope came when Marvel Studios decided to release their newest series on Disney +, titled “Assembled”.
The new show is giving fans all the inside scoop on what went into the making of the show, from how COVID-19 impacted production to the introduction of new characters, and so much more. This hour-long docu-series episode takes a deep dive into the popular show, and it is a one-stop shop for so many hilarious moments between the dynamic duo and the rest of the cast.
Here is a roundup of the funniest moments from the behind-the-scenes episode!
1. The “Suit-Kovia” Ad
Daniel Bruhl ALWAYS kills it as Zemo. But have you seen him try to sell the audience on “suit-kovia”, a clothing emporium set in Sokovia? We are sold... see you guys there!
2. Getting The Giggles
The episode highlights the camaraderie between Mackie and Stan, and it’s pretty obvious that the pair has a great time filming together! In one particular scene, Anthony can’t hold back his laughter as Sebastian introduces John Walker into the mix. Sebastian then proceeds to jokingly get on Anthony’s case for giggling at his performance.
“Not Exactly A Badass...What?!”
Sebastian Stan screaming and jumping from a fake plane while Anthony Mackie cackles in the background might just be my new favorite thing. As heroic as they may seem, seeing some of the actors’ big action scenes before editing might just give you a good chuckle. This was proven after Sebastian’s big jump when director Kari Skogland chimed in noting that the jump was “not exactly badass”. To which Sebastian was deeply confused.
3. “Let’s Roll Again!”
Throughout the entire behind-the-scenes episode, Anthony Mackie had some pretty good one-liners that we wish could’ve somehow made their way into the show. One of his best moments was when they were shooting the “Madripoor” scenes in his wild African suit, and Mackie yelled out, “Whoo! I’m on, let’s roll again, I’m on!”
4. “There Are Definitely Days Where I Feel Like He’s Going To Kill Me”
Don’t worry – Sebastian Stan does not think Anthony Mackie is physically going to kill him. However, we love this quote from Stan, describing what it’s like to act alongside the hilarious Anthony Mackie for months on end. One can only imagine just how fun it would be to be on set with this goofy pair!
