Victoria Beckham named Charlotte Rampling as the person she’d most like to dress as she took home the Best British Brand gong at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards on Thursday night (02Nov17).
The two English stars both made an appearance at the star-studded awards ceremony at London’s swanky Claridge's Hotel.
Decked out in a ruffled neck white blouse and wide-legged lemon-colored trousers, taken from her spring/ summer 18 collection, Victoria was scouting the room to try and meet 71-year-old actress Charlotte.
“If I could dress anyone in the world, it would be Charlotte Rampling. She’s here tonight, so we’ll see,” she confided to Britain’s Metro newspaper.
Oscar nominee Charlotte, dressed in a black jacket and trousers combo worn with a white top, was also feted at the awards bash, going home with the British Icon gong.
It wasn’t just 45 Years star Charlotte that Victoria fangirled over though; but Doctor Foster actress Suranne Jones too.
“Thank you @BazaarUK for the British brand award. So proud. And thank you Surrane for presenting it to me. I met #drfoster! xVB #bazaarawards,” she posted on social media next to a snap of her posing with Suranne.
Other big winners of the night include model of the moment Ashley Graham, who was crowned Model of the Year, and Dior head Maria Grazia Chiuri, who won Designer of the Year.
