Rapper Tyga has reportedly recruited a fresh team of lawyers, accountants and managers to help him fix his financial troubles.
The Rack City star frequently makes headlines over his money issues and he has been slapped with legal action a number of times in recent years for allegedly failing to pay instalments on house rent, car rental and jewelry, among others.
His lawyer Shawn Holley, who has previously worked for Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg, has told TMZ.com that she is overhauling his team so he can tackle his debts once and for all. She says he didn't have decent representation while those issues kept coming up so he has now reportedly hired new accountants, business managers and attorneys who are working to wipe his slate clean and make sure he's never "taken advantage of" again.
Holley spoke to TMZ after Tyga was hit by more legal action for allegedly failing to pay instalments on a lease for his mother's Range Rover Evoque, which reportedly costs $60,000 . The unnamed woman in Orange County, California reportedly filed legal documents against the rapper claiming she acted as a middleman to set up the lease, and because he has missed payments of $1,000 a month, she is gearing up to report it as stolen or send in the repo man.
In August (16), a warrant was issued for the rapper's arrest after he didn't turn up to court about a payment dispute with a former landlord, who began legal action in 2012. He had been ordered to pay Gholamreza Rezai $480,000 in March (16) but he failed to do so. Tyga and his legal team settled the matter out of court and the arrest warrant was withdrawn.
He has also reportedly had a number of cars repossessed including a red Ferrari, red sports utility vehicle (SUV), a Bentley Mulsanne and a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador.
