Rapper Tyga insists he's "good" following his alleged split from Kylie Jenner.
The Rack City star had been dating the 18-year-old reality star on-and-off since 2014, and reports published on Thursday (12May16) suggested they parted ways once and for all before the Met Gala earlier this month (May16).
Neither of them have addressed the split on social media, but as he celebrated the launch of his clothing design collaboration with Marcelo Burlon in New York on Thursday night, he told E! Online that he was doing well.
"I'm good, you know?" he said when asked how he was doing. "Just another day and working hard and trying to get to that next level and achieve big things and evolve."
On Wednesday night (11May16), the night before the news broke, Kylie revealed on Snapchat that she had gone back to her mother Kris Jenner's home in Calabasas, California and would be staying there for a few days, although Kris is currently out of town.
"Do any of you OGs (original gangsters) remember my old bedroom?" she asked her fans in a series of videos. "I think I'm gonna be in here for a few days. I miss it. … It's so cute how many of you remember my old room! And the pictures and the dead flowers. I don't know, I just love this room. I feel like it has so many memories."
On Thursday night, she joined her half-sister Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick at a party in Los Angeles. Kylie, in a white jumper and leather leggings, was pictured leaning her head on Scott's shoulder for professional pictures at the NYLON and BCBGeneration's Annual Young Hollywood May Issue bash.
Sources tell TMZ.com Kylie split from Tyga because she wants to live the single, jetset lifestyle, while Tyga is happy working on his music. They reportedly clashed constantly over trivial matters.
The news comes as it was announced Kylie would be making her DJ debut in Las Vegas in May (16), but Kylie has since denied the report. She retweeted the news story and added, "This isn't true."
