Taylor Swift makes playlist for heartbroken fan

Taylor Swift has helped a heartbroken fan by curating a playlist to cheer her up after a recent split.

The Love Story hitmaker received a message from a user named Kasey on blog site Tumblr.com on Tuesday (10Feb15), in which the upset fan explained that her boyfriend of four months had dumped her via text message and then hounded her to take him back.

Swift responded by posting a lengthy message of encouragement, writing, "Oh my God, I know. It's so devastating to come to terms with speaking of someone in past tense when you used to see them as your present and your future... I know it's hard but I think it's time to utilise the 'block' feature on your phone. This is just damaging... So don't give him the chance to say more damaging things... Protect yourself, please. I'm so sorry this happened. I made you a break up/moving on playlist."

The tracks on Swift's playlist include songs by Charli XCX, HAERTS, Misterwives, Azure Ray and Measure.
