Suri Cruise reunited with lost dog

Actress Katie Holmes is breathing a sigh of relief after her daughter Suri Cruise's lost dog was found alive and well.

Chihuahua Honey went missing during a visit to a friend's house in Benedict Canyon, near Beverly Hills, California last weekend (23-24Aug14), just weeks after Holmes adopted her.

The worried Batman Begins star plastered posters around the neighborhood alerting locals to the dog's disappearance and even offered up a $1,000 reward for the pet's safe return, but the search was called off on Wednesday (27Aug14) after officials at the Lucky Puppy Rescue organization located the pooch not far from where she disappeared.

Suri's furry friend was subsequently checked out by a vet and given the all-clear to return home, reports TMZ.com.

Suri, eight, is Holmes' daughter from her marriage to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise.
