Former Destiny'S Child star Letoya Luckett is a married woman after tying the knot over the weekend (09-10Dec17).
The singer married entrepreneur Tommicus Walker on Sunday at Villa Antonia in Austin, Texas in front of their family and famous friends, including Ludacris, Tank, and her former bandmates Latavia Roberson and Michelle Williams. Ludacris' wife Eudoxie Bridges served as a matron of honor, while Tank sang At Last while LeToya walked down the aisle.
Luckett wore a custom Vera Wang gown and Christian Louboutin sandals during the ceremony.
"Vera Wang graciously allowed me to add a few touches to my dress as my own addition," she tells Essence.
LeToya and Tommicus announced their engagement in August (17).
"Immediately the chemistry was there," she told the publication a day after the engagement announcement. "We started talking and laughing. He's from Texas just like me. Talking to him felt like being home again. We talked for a few weeks and he still didn't know what I looked like or my full name or anything like that."
The wedding comes over a year after Luckett divorced motivational speaker and author Rob Hill, Sr. in August, 2016. The couple reportedly tied the knot in January, 2016, but split two months later. Rob maintains the pair never made it down the aisle.
In May (17), LeToya offered up her thoughts on the failed relationship.
"Anytime you open up and allow yourself to love and love hard, that's the risk you take of it possibly not working out," she shared with The Breakfast Club. "And although we really did love and care for each other, it just didn't turn out the way we wanted it to."
