Sick Charlie Puth cancels remaining U.S. dates
Pop star Charlie Puth has scrapped the remaining dates on his Don't Talk Tour after falling ill.
The See You Again singer performed at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night (23Oct16) but is too sick to hit the stage again.
Announcing the news to fans on Twitter on Sunday (23Oct16), he
wrote: "This is the last thing I want because I love being on the
road performing and meeting every one of you. You are the reason I
can do what I love most for a living and I am so thankful.
"I have been extremely sick pushing through these dates and haven't
taken the time my body needs to recover. Resting and taking time
off the road is the only way I can get better and start performing
for you again."
He opened up about his poor health backstage at the We Can Survive
Concert in Los Angeles on Saturday, telling news show Entertainment
Tonight, "I got hit by a bus of flu, and I just got better the
other day."
The canceled shows include a Sunday night (23Oct16) show in
Tennessee and upcoming gigs in Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Utah,
and Colorado
