Selena Gomez made her feelings for Justin Bieber clear during a show in California by crumpling up a fan's sign urging her to marry her ex.
The Come and Get It hitmaker was performing the second show on her Revival World Tour on Sunday (08May16) when she spotted a girl holding up a piece of paper reading, "Marry Justin Please".
In video footage of the gig, Selena can be seen motioning to the devotee to hand over the poster, before she screws it up and tosses it aside as she continues with the show.
"SELENA CRUMPLED UP MY SISTERS SIGN IM CRYING (sic)," the fan's sibling wrote on Twitter.com after the gig.
The devotee has since told E! News she didn't mean any harm with her sign.
"She didn't mention anything after," the attendee said. "I got my paper back though. It wasn't meant to be mean. I love Selena and Justin, and love them together as well. It was the second to the last song that it happened. She put on a great show though."
The concert incident emerges days after Selena revealed she would not be performing her ballad The Heart Wants What It Wants on tour as the love song, written about Justin, was too much for her to sing live.
"There are things that I can't do," she told Entertainment Weekly last week (ends06May16). "I won't be performing this on this tour because I don't want to. It's like when you smell a scent and it takes you back to a place that maybe wasn't the best place. That stuff is a little bit more difficult."
Selena and Justin dated on and off for three years before calling time on their romance for good in 2014.
The Latin beauty has since revealed she is actively seeking a new beau, but she is struggling with trust issues.
"I've been dating. I've been having the best time," she told Marie Claire magazine. "But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun."
