Rob Kardashian's driving licence has been suspended after he was caught speeding while collecting fiancee Blac Chyna from jail in Texas.
The model, who reportedly started dating Rob in January (16), was arrested that same month at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin for allegedly causing a disturbance on a flight from Los Angeles to London.
She was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance, and Rob travelled to the state to collect her from custody, but he went over the speeding limit on the journey and subsequently no longer has a driver's licence.
The engaged couple were approached by reporters while waiting for an Uber taxi at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday (18Apr16) and Rob explained why they had to use the taxi service.
“I take Ubers daily. My license is suspended. It’s expired and suspended," he told TMZ.com. When asked why it was suspended, Rob coyly replies, “Just life. I really don’t even know. I think I just have to take care of something... My birthday just passed, it expired, so..."
When pressed for more answers, he revealed he needs to deal with a ticket which he was given "for driving to Texas to grab her" and that he was caught "speeding a couple of times". He refused to disclose how fast he was driving.
Rob, 29, and Blac, 27, got engaged this month (Apr16) but his family have remained quiet on the topic. When asked how they reacted to the news, Rob was reluctant to make any comment but eventually told the website “everybody’s happy.”
He also told reporters he has no plans to televise their big day, or related events, adding, "I really am trying to be happy, that's all."
However, Rob is set to make a return to reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians after a long absence.
