Actor Lucas Hedges has been tapped to star in Dior Homme's new campaign.
The star has risen to prominence following his casting in Kenneth Lonergan's 2016 film Manchester by the Sea, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
For his latest gig, Hedges has been selected to test out his modeling skills and is fronting the marketing imagery for Dior's latest menswear collection.
In one of the images, the 20-year-old is seen posing in a studio which has hazard tape printed with the words "Hardior" criss-crossed throughout the background. He stands in the center of the shot, wearing a pinstriped suit, striped shirt, black tie and black gloves.
Another photo shows Hedges sporting a black suit with oversize trousers, a white shirt, black gloves and black skater sneakers.
However, the young actor isn't the only celebrity to appear in the campaign, with British photographer David Sims also snapping Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan, as well as models Dylan Roques and Christophe 't Kint, for the edgy shoot.
For the photographs, frontman Gahan is seen posing in a slim cut black suit with white detailing on the shoulders, and in another suit with multi-color stitching while wearing a pair of silver reflective Dior sunglasses.
Conceptualized by Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche, the campaign also marks the designer's 10-year anniversary at the Paris-based label.
"Spanning generations and disciplines, they plot an evolution of style that subverts the classicism of Dior Homme today, " the brand said of the imagery, according to WWD.
The new marketing will appear in July-August issue of L'Uomo Vogue before dropping in other publications. It will be accompanied by a video titled #intothenight, which is set to be unveiled on dior.com by the end of the week (16Jun17).
In the past, Van Assche has selected the likes of Robert Pattinson, Boy George and A$AP Rocky to star in his campaigns.
