The bright orange 1993 Toyota Supra Paul Walker drove in the original Fast & Furious movie has sold at auction for $185,000 .
The customised racing car, which was one of only a few built specifically for the shoot, was driven by Walker in the climatic final scene of the 2001 film, when his character, Brian O'Connor, went head-to-head with Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto, and jumped across railway tracks.
The piece of movie memorabilia, which boasts a 220-horsepower inline-6-cylinder engine, had been estimated to fetch around $200,000 during the Mecum Auctions sale in Indianapolis, Indiana last week (ends15May15), but the final bid fell a little short of expectations.
Walker had been in the middle of shooting Furious 7, the latest sequel in the racing movies franchise, when he was killed in a car crash in November, 2013.
Furious 7 has become the highest grossing film in the franchise's history after racing past the $1 billion mark at the global box office in just 17 days following its release last month (Apr15). Diesel has since revealed an eight film is now in development.
