Nick and Vanessa Lachey expecting third baby

Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa are set to become parents for a third time.

The couple, who wed in 2011, are already parents to son Camden and daughter Brooklyn and they will welcome their latest addition next spring (17).

"We got a new crib! Now we need a new CRIB!," a message on Instagram reads. "#LacheyPartyOf5... and (dog) Wookie."

The couple recently purchased late singer Jenni Rivera's seven-bedroom mansion in Encino, California for $4.15 million (£3.1 million) from the family of the Latin star, who died in a plane crash in 2012, aged 43.

In addition to preparing the new home for the baby's arrival, Vanessa will also be keeping busy with her role in the First Wives Club TV series, in which she will star alongside Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty. The reboot will be based on the 1996 movie, which featured Diane Keaton, Bette Midler, and Goldie Hawn as dumped wives. The series was picked up by bosses at America's TV Land in March (16), but it is unclear when it will premiere.

While life may be getting a lot busier for the couple, Vanessa is ready to take on all the challenges ahead.

"The second (child) has been different just in the sense that it's non-stop, but I love that," she told E! News in June. "It's busy and it's chaotic, but... it's what I've wanted and it's all I know right now and on top of all of that, I have the most amazing supportive husband."

"If we're blessed with number three, it's just going to be that much more exciting," she added. "If it happens, it happens!"
