Niall Horan is yet to meet One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson's son Freddie.
The band; Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall and Louis, who announced an extended break last August (15) have gone their separate ways, with each member pursuing their passion projects. But Louis has had the biggest change, becoming a father to Freddie in January with ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth. Bandmate Harry was the first to congratulate the 24-year-old, with a tweet which read: "Flowers all round." But pal Niall revealed he hasn't yet met four month old Freddie.
Speaking to website Digital Spy at The Horan & Rose Event, a two-day charity event to raise awareness and funding for Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens, Niall shared he hadn’t met Freddie, and that he wasn't keen to start a family like Louis just yet.
"No, I’m definitely not broody at all, me", the 22-year-old insisted. "Plenty of time for kids but literally I still haven’t met little Freddie yet," he added. "Loads of times we’ve been in the same place but conflicted…he’s doing this, I’m doing that. I’m looking forward to meeting the little fella."
The two stars will be reunited soon as they're facing off against each other in an England vs The Rest of the World Soccer Aid match in aid of Unicef at Old Trafford next month (5Jun16). After the event was announced Louis tweeted: "Really excited to play at this years Soccer Aid at Old Trafford on Sunday 5th of June in aid of UNICEF #SoccerAid".
