Miley Cyrus hits out at 'tacky' Kim Kardashian
Miley Cyrus has urged feuding stars like Kim Kardashian and Bette Midler to "love one another" on International Women's Day.
The 23-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday (08Mar16) and appeared to slam the reality star, 35, as well as legendary entertainer Bette, 70, and actress Chloe Grace Moretz, after the trio became entangled in a war of words on social media, which began on Monday (07Mar16).
"Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF (as f**k)! Why don't we
overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to
create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so
they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families!" she
began. "Can we all put the c**tiness aside for one f**king day and
love/celebrate one another!
"PS no matter how hard you (or myself) work NEVER will I feel I am
worthy of the comfort I live in... Because so many others while I
tuck myself in at night are laying their head on the pavement,
dreaming of all the things we take for granted every day. Much love
to all my women!!!!"
Miley's outburst comes a day after singer/actress Bette took aim at
Kim following the posting of her latest nude selfie. The Beaches
star claimed the only way the mother-of-two could show off a part
of herself that the Internet hasn't seen is if she swallowed a
camera.
Kim immediately hit back, claiming Bette was a "fake friend",
before joking she should send some nude pictures of her own.
The socialite's tweets prompted speculation her outspoken husband
Kanye West was behind the social media rant, but Kim was quick to
confirm the messages had come from her own fair hand, writing:
"Wait I can't believe people thought Kanye or (sister) Khloe hacked
my Twitter. I swear I'm funny too!!!"
Bette, who is also known for her quick wit, didn't hesitate in
firing back at Kim, posting on her Twitter account on Tuesday:
"@KimKardashian: I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like
anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke..."
Bette wasn't the only star to get involved in the drama, as
Kick-Ass actress Chloe also tweeted about the reality star and her
status as a role model.
"I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young
women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our
bodies," she wrote, prompting Kim to reply, "Let's all welcome
@ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is."
