Mariah Carey keeps trim by following a diet which consists of Norwegian salmon and capers.
The superstar swears by a high protein diet, and she is now foregoing everything but fish seasoned with the pickled flower buds.
"It's really hard, my diet, you would hate it," Mariah tells E! News. "All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That's it. I'm actually serious. I try to stick with the proteins. It's the worst."
The Hero singer, whose TV documentary series Mariah's World premieres on Sunday (04Dec16), split from her billionaire fiance James Packer in September (16) following a fight while they were on vacation in Greece.
As much of the filming for the show took place before the breakup, at one point, Mariah is seen trying on wedding dresses. However, she now refuses to become upset when watching footage of her preparing for her ill-fated nuptials.
"No it's just, you know, all things in life it's just like you gotta see what's meant to be and if it's meant to be it's meant to be and if it's not then ultimately you just have to accept that and move on," explains Mariah.
Mariah's World will give fans a look behind the scenes at the diva's glamorous life, with one early revelation from the series reportedly being that she refuses her assistants permission to date until they have worked for her for a year.
The series was due to document the singer's relationship with 49-year-old James. Early reports suggested he would be edited out of the documentary, but a source close to the Australian media mogul told Entertainment Tonight that he had not requested footage of him be removed.
