Macaulay Culkin's band The Pizza Underground's next album is to be their last.
The 35-year-old actor, best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone movies, debuted his group in December 2013 and they have enjoyed moderate success since.
However, in a new interview Macaulay revealed that the group's next offering will be their final one, although he promised that they were going all out to make it their best.
"It's intense, we have a children's choir, I hired a 120-piece symphony," he told the Press Association. "It's the other side of the coin, all of our stuff is like jingly-jangly and this is this big, grand lush sound.
"Essentially that's going to be the end of the band and this is our gift to the world - 'thanks for enjoying our silly pizza band'."
Along with their music, The Pizza Underground have become famous for handing out free pizza at their gigs.
Macaulay called time on his acting career at the age of 14 and has focused on his music since then. But his next project sees him star alongside some CGI meerkats in a new campaign for insurance comparison site comparethemarket.com. Macaulay is following in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman by signing up for the ad campaign, but says he decided to do so because it appeals to his sense of humor.
"If I get offered something that I think is neat, and if it suits my personality, or it suits my humor then it strikes a chord with me and that's the reason I said yes to this project," he said. "To be honest I sort of go with the wind, but in a good way."
