Lizzy Caplan is engaged to actor Tom Riley.
The couple has been keeping its engagement news quiet for months, as the British star secretly popped the question to the Mean Girls actress in New York City in May (16), Caplan's representative confirms to Us Weekly.
Caplan and Riley reportedly met in January, 2015, while she was in London filming Now You See Me 2, but their romance didn't become public until that September (15), when they were first photographed out together.
Riley seemingly confirmed the relationship in October, 2015 by taking to Instagram to share a shot of him holding hands with his lady love while vacationing in Capri, Italy.
They made their debut as a couple on the red carpet in February (16), happily posing for pictures at the Prague Opera Ball in the Czech Republic.
Caplan, who previously dated Matthew Perry from 2006 to 2012, isn't the only Mean Girls star to get engaged this year (16) - her onscreen best friend, played by Daniel Franzese, has asked his boyfriend of a little more than a year to be his husband.
Franzese recently got down on one knee to propose to partner Joseph Bradley Phillips at a Starbucks cafe in North Hollywood, California, where they had met for the first time. The happy news emerged two years after Daniel opened up about his sexuality in an open letter to his gay character Damien from the 2004 film.
Meanwhile, another Mean Girls co-star is also heading down the aisle - Lindsay Lohan is reportedly set to wed her Russian beau, 22-year-old Egor Tarabasov. The couple, which also began dating last year (15), is said to have become engaged in April (16).
