Lil Wayne caught up in tour bus shooting
Police in Georgia have launched an investigation after shots were fired at one of rapper Lil Wayne's tour buses in the early hours of Sunday (26Apr15).
The Lollipop hitmaker's vehicle reportedly came under fire as the driver was pulling away from the Compound nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, where he had been performing.
The hip-hop star, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., fellow rappers Lil
Twist and Lil Hood, and a number of music executives from Wayne's
Young Money Entertainment label where travelling in the buses at
the time of the incident, but it is not clear if they were in the
vehicle that was hit.
The damaged bus was driven to a nearby hotel and police officers
were called to the scene. They have since launched an investigation
into the drama.
According to TMZ.com, nobody was injured in the incident.
Representatives for the stars have yet to comment on the
reports.
