Leonardo DiCaprio and Kendall Jenner are urging millenials to get out and vote in the upcoming election in a new star-studded campaign video.
Anne Hathaway, Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts, Zendaya and Mr. Robot's Rami Malek are among the celebrities and social media personalities taking part in #VoteYourFuture, a campaign launched on Tuesday (04Oct16) by The Revenant producer Steve Golin's production company Anonymous Content, to encourage young adults to go to the polls in November (16).
The #VoteYourFuture video features nearly 100 clips directed by acclaimed filmmakers Alejandro G. Inarritu, David O. Russell, Tom McCarthy, and Joss Whedon that explain which issues are of importance to each Hollywood luminary in the upcoming election.
In the clips, stars including Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Longoria, Stanley Tucci, Emma Stone, Moby, and Laura Dern ask viewers to consider a simple but important question: "What do you care about?"
Musician Moby shared: "One issue that I care about very deeply is gun control. I sat down with the parents of the children who were killed in Newtown and I saw a level of grief and emptiness and despair that I couldn't have even imagined before."
Other stars such as Olivia Wilde, Eva Longoria and Wilmer Valderrama share their thoughts on subjects ranging from equality, climate change, immigration, military veterans, to gun control, and ask, "If you care, vote."
