Leona Lewis has parted ways with her longtime management team after her recent album failed to hit the top of the charts in the U.K.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker has been with Modest! Management Ltd. since she hit the bigtime following her win on The X Factor in the U.K. in 2006.
The split comes after Lewis' third album, Glassheart, became her first record not to make number one in her native Britain.
However, Leona Lewis insists she has parted ways on good terms with her former team, saying, "I greatly enjoyed my time working with Modest!
"They played an important role in my career and I'll always be grateful. I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my career."
The singer is not the first former The X Factor contestant to leave the management group - Rebecca Ferguson parted ways with the company last year (12), and has since been hit with a lawsuit for terminating their five-year contract prematurely.
