Singer Leann Rimes has blamed an ongoing "dental nightmare" for her cancelled show in Nevada on Friday (05Oct12).
The How Do I Live hitmaker was due to kick off her latest tour in Wendover, but she axed the gig at the last minute citing a "massive infection".
Now Rimes has revealed she spent the night in the emergency room receiving treatment for her dental issues, which she claims have caused her 10 months of agony.
In a post on her blog, she writes, "The ER at 3am, THAT is an interesting place to be. Feeling much better now, thanks to my husband's best friend who's an ER doc. I've been living in a dental nightmare for 10 months. I'm getting back on track though, I hope. I've had too many detours this year due to dental issues. I'm finally in great hands and being well taken care of...
"Needless to say, I'm resting today. Thank you all for your support and understanding. The last 10 months of pain are hard for me to wrap my head around. I'm sure it's difficult for you all to understand too. Let's just pray I'm on the mend. I'll see you all on the road very soon."
Rimes, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, scrapped shows in July (12) to undergo an emergency root canal treatment before enrolling at a treatment facility in August (12) to address anxiety and stress issues.
