Shamed actress Kristen Stewart will make her first official appearance since her cheating scandal at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada next month (Sep12).
The 22 year old has been lying low since confessing to cheating on her Twilight co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders last month (Jul12), but she will have to face the media and the public once again in September as she begins promoting her latest film, On the Road.
Stewart, who portrays Marylou in the big screen adapatation of Jack Kerouac's classic novel, has been confirmed to attend the annual Toronto event alongside castmates Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams and Garrett Hedlund, reports People.com.
On the Road will premiere at the festival, which begins on 6 September (12) and runs for 10 days.
Pattinson has already had to put his personal troubles aside and focus on work - he hit the red carpet for the New York premiere of his new movie Cosmopolis on Monday (13Aug12) and has continued to fulfill all of his press commitments since.
He split from Stewart after news of her "indiscretion" broke last month and has refused to even mention her name in TV appearances this week.
