Khloe Kardashian has given an update on how her sister Kim is doing after her recent robbery ordeal.
The youngest of the Kardashian sisters appeared on Tuesday’s (11Oct16) episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, choosing the popular daytime program to talk about Kim’s frightening incident for the first time.
Kim, 35, was robbed at gunpoint while in Paris for Fashion Week earlier this month (Oct16), with armed raiders tying the star up as they looted her apartment at the Hotel de Pourtales.
“She's not doing that well,” Khloe, 32, sighed to Ellen. “I mean it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together. We do appreciate all of your guys' love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”
Khloe’s appearance comes a day after their mother Kris Jenner posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, explaining how grateful she is for her family.
In the wake of the robbery the whole clan has been relatively quiet on the social media front, scaling back their constant updates in favor of few select posts.
“Well, I think it’s just a wakeup call to make a lot of life adjustments,” Khloe said of the social media shutdown. “This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that’s really personal as to when that emotional terror you could move on from that. I think for us it’s all a wakeup call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is OK.
“Like I said, we’re a family we’ll do this together. I think it’s important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit, I think is always smart.”
Kevin Hart, who co-hosted with Ellen, added to the reality star he thinks it’s “dope” how the Kardashian family stick together.
