Motherhood has done wonders for Keira Knightley's hair.
The actress, who gave birth to daughter Edie last year (15), reveals her hair is ''10 times thicker'' since she became a mum.
That's the good news. The bad news is she has to spend so much time taming her wild hair, she spends less and less time on other areas.
The 31-year-old tells InStyle magazine, ''I have naturally crazy, curly hair and since I've had the baby it's become 10 times thicker. So now I've been finding quite a lot of dreadlocks.
''My skin has also become significantly drier with age, so I moisturise and try to drink as much water as possible. Aside from that, my teeth are always brushed and I use lip balm. My new approach is, 'Do what you can remember and don't worry about it too much'."
Hair has become a big deal for the Begin Again star after dying her locks for many of her early film roles. Now she prefers wigs to protect her hair from colouring - and to give it a break.
''I have dyed my hair virtually every colour imaginable for different films," she says. "It got so bad that my hair literally began to fall out of my head. So for the past five years I've used wigs, which is the greatest thing that's ever happened to my hair."
And her beauty regime kicks in every time she completes a film - she treats herself to a manicure.
''My nails are usually bare when I'm filming, so as soon as I finish I paint them with a bold Chanel colour," she smiles. "It makes me feel like I'm reclaiming my body.''
