Actress Katie Holmes spent part of her Thanksgiving holiday playing video games at chain restaurant Dave & Busters.
The Batman Begins star and her daughter Suri, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, returned to her family's home in Toledo, Ohio for the annual gathering, and after dinner, the Holmes family headed to the popular entertainment venue, which features a games arcade.
Katie took to Instagram to share a couple of photos from their evening out, revealing little Suri had triumphed over her mom in one challenge.
"She beat me @daveandbusters," the actress captioned an image of the mother and daughter facing off. She then added the hashtags, "#mothersanddaughters #holidays #gratitude #family #toledo #ohio".
In a second picture, Katie is caught in an action shot as she competes in an arcade basketball game.
"Great times @daveandbusters with my family #toledo #family #love #gratitude HAPPY THANKSGIVING!," she wrote beside the snap, while another photo with her male relatives featured the caption, "Love my time with family."
She also posted short videos of her family's Thanksgiving dinner preparation online.
The famously-private actress has started to share more of her and Suri's life with fans on social media in recent months, and Katie previously admitted becoming a mom had given her a whole new view of her purpose in life.
"(Motherhood) changes you completely in such amazing ways, and I think that you become who you were meant to be," she told Ocean Drive magazine last year (15). "Being a parent also is a source of inspiration to just work really hard. You want to set an example - and, you know, (your kids) are what drives you."
