Kate Hudson rang Lea Michele to dismiss feud rumors
Lea Michele was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal phone call from Glee guest star Kate Hudson recently after false tabloid reports suggested the pair had fallen out.
The Almost Famous beauty played sexy dance instructor Cassandra, a teacher at the New York school attended by Lea Michele's character Rachel Berry, on season four of the hit musical comedy, but gossip from the set alleged Kate Hudson was not a fan of the 26 year old.
The unexpected rumors came as a surprise for both ladies, but Kate
Hudson made sure the young star knew how much she adored her by
picking up the phone to dismiss the claims herself.
Recalling the phone call, Lea ichele tells Marie Claire magazine,
"(She said), 'I just heard about that (the rumored feud), and it
f**king sucks. I want you to know I think you're amazing.'"
The touching conversation turned into a bonding moment for the
co-stars and it was a call Michele will treasure for years to
come.
She says, "It was so classy of her to take a minute to (debunk it),
even though we both knew it was the biggest piece of crap in the
whole world. I told her, 'I love you, and I adore you. Thank you so
much for creating a human moment with me.'"
Lea Michele admits tabloid gossip is "super-frustrating sometimes",
but she has learned to just let it go when the magazines get it
really wrong.
She adds, "Now I feel like, you can think what you want to think
about me - that's OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends, and
family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and
crew really enjoy working with me. That's all that matters."
