Actress Julianna Margulies' legal battle with her former management team is heading to trial in Los Angeles next year (14).
The former ER star is locked in a legal dispute with bosses at D/F Management, who claim they are owed $420,000 in back payments for their alleged involvement in landing her roles on The Good Wife and as a spokesmodel for cosmetics brand L'Oreal.
Margulies fired back at the agents, who represented her from 2009 until 2011, in a suit last October (12), claiming her ex-manager Steve Dontanville failed to present her with a written document of his firm's agreement.
A judge has denied Margulies' motion to have the issue settled in a summary judgement and has now set a trial date for 8 January (14) in Los Angeles.
D/F Management's lawyers are now seeking more money after The Good Wife was sold into syndication.
