Actor Josh Duhamel got his hands dirty by helping New Yorkers clean up the city's Franz Sigel Park as part of a new volunteer initiative.
The Transformers star cleared litter and hauled new soil and woodchip material to invigorate the inner-city park in the Bronx area of the Big Apple on Saturday (12Apr14).
The clean-up was part of painkiller company Advil's Relief in Action drive, which promotes volunteer services across the U.S.
The star says, "Rather than putting on a suit and going to events, I wanted to actually do something, and Advil's Relief in Action is really about getting people to participate in the community and we're hoping people will pledge... to volunteer."
