Country music icon Johnny Cash and superstar Miranda Lambert have been added to the list of inductees to Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame.
Music supercouple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood unveiled their stars last week (10Sep15), and now the late Cash and Lambert are set to receive their markers next month (Oct15).
Songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Cropper will also be feted at the ceremony.
Lambert has shared her gratitude for the honor in a statement which reads: "I am proud to join a heritage of other female inductees, such as Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Emmylou Harris and Martina McBride. This is a milestone moment that I will cherish forever.
"I want to congratulate my fellow inductees, Steve Cropper... and the legendary Johnny Cash - just saying his name alongside mine, takes my breath away."
Lambert and former Booker T & the MGs star Cropper are slated to attend the ceremony on 6 October (15).
