Jewel and Jay Sean support hunger campaign
Country star Jewel and rapper Jay Sean are among the stars who have recorded a special song to support a hunger charity.
The pair and Owl City are backing company ConAgra Foods' Child Hunger Ends Here campaign, which aims to donate five million meals this school year to the Feeding America organization.
The famous trio have each recorded their own version of original
song Here's Hope to benefit the cause.
Jewel, who lived in a car for a year before she was discovered at
the age of 19, says, "As a homeless teen, I experienced the
epidemic of hunger first-hand. Now, as a new mother, it breaks my
heart to know that children suffer from this every day.
"I'm honored and humbled to be able to help those in need through
the Child Hunger Ends Here program and say to our friends and
neighbors struggling with hunger, 'Here's hope'."
