Iggy Azalea's representative slams Steve Madden drop reports

Written by . Published: April 17 2015

A representative for Iggy Azalea has blasted a report suggesting the rapper has been dropped by shoe designers Steve Madden following an outburst on social media in January (15).

The Fancy hitmaker went on a tirade on Twitter.com blasting company executives for publishing advertising campaign photographs for her shoe line collaboration without getting her permission first. She blasted the pictures, insisting they did not reflect her vision, and Madden admitted he was "upset" by the outburst.

A report published in Britain's The Sun newspaper on Friday (17Apr15) suggested Azalea and Madden were due to team up on three more collections but the plans have been shelved following her rant.

However, a representative for the rapper has denied the claims, telling WENN, "Iggy Azalea and Steve Madden have a great working relationship and are currently working on their future collaborations. The (story) is categorically not true."
