Gwyneth Paltrow has recommended a number of unusual big-ticket items as part of her annual Goop holiday gift guide.
The team who runs the actress' lifestyle website Goop has released its annual festive wish list, titled the "The Ridiculous, But Awesome Gift Guide".
Within the round-up of Goop’s must-have items is the exclusive record collection of the late actor Dennis Hopper, which would set the buyer back $150,000 , a "living art moss wall garden" which costs around $600 , a personal yurt for camping, priced at $8,300 , and an infrared sauna, costing from $2,295 .
The Goop team have also recommended an underwater art exhibit, a zombie apocalypse survival kit, a leather bicycle, hologram glasses, a clothes steam-cleaning unit, an Alexander McQueen umbrella priced at $510 , a $5,000 Jeff Koons vase and a $120 tube of toothpaste.
The 44-year-old actress has been the subject of ridicule for some of her more outrageous recommendations on the website, which she founded in 2008. She cut back from her acting roles to focus on the lifestyle brand and its lines.
"We took some investment last year, so as soon as we had other people's money, I realized I really better focus on this completely," she told U.S. news show Today in March (16).
However, it has been reported by the New York Post that she is also looking to get into the stage production business. She is reportedly producing musical Head Over Heels, which features the songs of the '80s girl group The Go-Go’s, with her ex-boyfriend Donovan Leitch. They staged a reading earlier this month (Nov16) to help attract investors and producers with a view to open in the summer (17).
