George Clooney shows off basketball skills back home in pick-up game
George Clooney took his basketball skills back home last weekend (07Jun14) to take part in a pick-up game with his old high school's new star.
Recent Augusta High School graduate Brent Bach was stunned when the movie star walked onto the court in Kentucky on Saturday.
The Oscar winner was in Lexington for a family reunion when he
decided to join a local basketball game, according to the Lexington
Herald-Leader.
Thrilled Bach, the school's new points leader, told the newspaper,
"He's got an all-right jump shot, and he's in shape."
Ironically, Clooney went to high school with the teen's parents,
and has kept in touch with them over the years.
Bach adds, "He told me he was proud of me and everything we did for
the school and the town we represented."
Bach, who is set to become a college basketball star, averaged 31
points a game for Augusta and led his team to a 20-12 record this
past season.
