Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter has been forced to hand over emergency relief to her estranged husband while they fight through their divorce.
Frances Bean Cobain will have to pay Isaiah Silva $12,000 (GBP9,200)-a-month for the next four months, so he can afford to live and cover his expenses while the former couple's court battle rumbles on.
A judge signed off on the cash sum on Wednesday (28Sep16), and also determined Cobain should pay $15,000 (GBP11,500) towards Silva's attorney fees.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Frances and Isaiah will be in mediation during the four month period covering the temporary spousal support.
Silva is reportedly demanding $25,000 (GBP19,100)-a-month in spousal support, claiming he quit his job after his now-estranged wife offered to support him when they wed.
He claims Cobain also agreed to cover his monthly expenses and school fees for his daughter from a previous relationship.
Frances, 24, filed for divorce from the 31-year-old musician in March (16), ending their two year marriage.
Court documents suggest she is worth more than $100 million (GBP76.6 million) due to her father's estate. Isaiah is reportedly demanding half of the money she earned through her business dealings during their marriage.
In her initial divorce filing, Frances sought to establish that the money from her father's estate is hers alone, but indicated a willingness to pay an unspecified amount in spousal support. She also denies she gave Isaiah one of her father's acoustic-electric guitars as a wedding gift.
Insiders claim the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement in place when they wed in 2014, after dating for five years.
Frances' mother is supporting her daughter through the split drama, revealing she's glad she's out of "this dangerous and toxic relationship".
