Eminem's daughter crowned homecoming queen
Rapper Eminem reunited with his ex-wife Kim Mathers last week (ends04Oct13) to cheer on their teenage daughter as she was crowned homecoming queen at her Michigan high school.
The reclusive hip-hop superstar, who famously documented his troubled relationship with Mathers on his early albums, showed his support to Hailie Jade Scott by turning up at Chippewa Valley High School's football stadium in Clinton Township on Friday night (04Oct13), when the 17 year old was voted the most popular, alongside homecoming king Tyler Knepp.
A source tells local paper The Macomb Daily, "Hailie came out with
her mother Kim (Scott) when she was introduced with all the other
kids, but her father watched from inside the school because he
didn't want to cause a scene - he wanted Hailie to have her own
moment."
George Sobah, president of the Chippewa Valley Board of Education,
says, "I heard our people had him in the cafeteria so he could see
what was going on outside, but I can't confirm that."
Eminem divorced his high school sweetheart Mathers for the second
time in 2006. They share joint custody of Hailie.
