Drug possession charges that have been hovering over rapper Nelly for most of 2015 will be dropped if he stays out of trouble for a year.
The Hot in Herre hitmaker was in court in Tennessee on Friday (11Dec15) trying to clear his name following a possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia rap in April (15).
According to TMZ.com, Nelly's lawyer argued his client's clean record qualified him for a pretrial diversion, and the judge overseeing the case agreed, telling the rap star the charges will be wiped from his record if he lives clean for 12 months.
