British model Danielle Lloyd has been blasted by Beyonce's loyal fans after copying the superstar's pregnancy announcement photo to confirm her own baby news in a magazine covershoot.
The Formation hitmaker debuted her growing baby belly earlier this month (Feb17) as she posed in a bra, panties and a green veil in front of a floral backdrop to announce she and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins.
Danielle decided it would be a good idea to mimic the same pose for her own pregnancy reveal for Britain's OK! magazine, and took to Instagram on Monday (13Feb17) to share her cover image.
"So it's official Am expecting a baby (sic)," Danielle wrote. "I loved this Beyonce inspired shoot with @ok_mag".
However, her attempt at recreating the now-iconic shoot drew sharp criticism from Beyonce's followers and other social media users, who were quick to point out it wasn't just "inspired" by the singer.
"This cheap take on an iconic image kills me," wrote one critic. "how embarrassing."
Another posted, "Are u serious? Beyonce?? Mortified for ya #cringe (sic)," and a fellow Twitter user agreed, adding, "Danielle Lloyd copying Beyonce is the most tragic thing I've seen! Do your own thanggggg (sic)".
The child will be Danielle's fourth, but the 33-year-old's first with her new fiance Michael O'Neill.
The former Miss Great Britain shares three young boys with her ex-husband, soccer player Jamie O'Hara. They divorced in 2014 after two years of marriage.
