Daisy Ridley has shared her intense workout regime on social media, just weeks after revealing she was battling endometriosis and polycycstic ovaries.
The 24-year-old confessed she suffers from the debilitating conditions last month (Jun16), writing a lengthy post on Instagram explaining that her health woes which affected her confidence.
However, on Friday (01Jul16), Daisy reassured fans that she's managing the illnesses, by sharing a video montage of her insane workouts to make the return of her #FitnessFriday posts.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress has been trying to fit in her workouts while filming the next installment in the movie franchise, and her dedication to keeping fit is revealed in her video as she blends circuit training with weightlifting.
"This doesn't look that intense BUT today consisted of: warm up, 3 rounds of activators, 2 circuits of 3 rounds and a finisher of 20 seconds on 10 seconds on of 5 rounds," she captioned the clip.
"Really struggled and wanted to give up,@gravzy12 got me THROUGH! Feeling the strongest I've ever been! #musclyandproud (the man we say goodbye to during this is one of the incredible chiropractors that keep our bodies moving through all this training!)."
Daisy also shared a video of her workout last month (Jun16) which showed her working on her core strength, and doing lunges.
The Brit star documents her health and fitness on social media regularly, and it was her post explaining her health struggles that won her praise from fans for being honest about the debilitating conditions that affects thousands of women.
"At 15 I was diagnosed with endometriosis. One laparoscopy, many consultations and 8 years down the line, pain was back (more mild this time!) and my skin was THE WORST. I've tried everything: products, antibiotics, more products, more antibiotics and all that did was left my body in a bit of a mess," she wrote on Instagram.
Explaining that she underwent a series of tests which led her to cut dairy and sugar out of her diet, she told her fans, "My point is, to any of you who are suffering with anything, go to a doctor; pay for a specialist; get your hormones tested, get allergy testing; keep on top of how your body is feeling and don't worry about sounding like a hypochondriac.
"From your head to the tips of your toes we only have one body, let us all make sure ours our working in tip top condition, and take help if it's needed," Daisy concluded.
The actress is currently filming the yet untitled Star Wars: Episode 8 movie, alongside John Boyega and Mark Hamill. The film is slated for release in December, 2017.
