Chloe Grace Moretz regrets giving Kim Kardashian any attention.
The 19-year-old actress was embroiled in a social media feud with the reality star earlier this year (16) when she criticised Kim for posting a nude picture of herself.
"I truly hope you realise how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," the Kick-Ass star wrote on Twitter following Kim's raunchy snap in March.
Kim immediately hit back at the teen, writing, "let's all welcome @ChloeG Moretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. ..."
While Chloe hit headlines worldwide thanks to the disagreement, she admits in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she regrets drawing attention to a subject that didn't deserve it.
“I think I gave my attention to people that didn’t deserve my attention," she told the publication. "So in some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, (though) I don't regret what I said. But also I realised that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful. I learned that from Hillary (Clinton). ’It’s great to be feisty,’ those were her exact words.
“But sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to be the quietest person in the room. Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful.”
Chloe recently made news once again when it was revealed her relationship with Brooklyn Beckham had come to an end. And the actress admits suffering the usual dramas of being a teenager while growing up in the spotlight has been "hard".
“I realised if I stop talking about the negativity then it can’t thrive. And that’s something I came to very, very recently," she shared.
