Cee Lo Green has assured fans he has no plans to walk away his revolving chair on TV talent show The Voice.
The Forget You hitmaker last month (Apr12) prompted speculation he would walk away from the series after taking to his Twitter.com blog and writing, "I kinda wanna quit the show..."
He added, "I'm just tired at the moment... and sometimes I even feel like a token ya (sic) know?... (But) I'm under contract I can't quit."
Now Green has backtracked on his comments, insisting he and fellow coaches Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine want to remain in The Voice line-up for years to come.
He tells the Associated Press, "I would like to think that we were irreplaceable, you know what I'm saying... But the truth of the matter is, we're still working-class artists and artists can be very fickle. I would like to be here as long as it's fresh and new and exciting and fun for me."
And the kooky singer would even consider former a supergroup with his co-stars, adding: "Why not? Everybody's talented. Everybody's available and highly enthusiastic. I think everybody would be up for it, man, because it's a great idea."
