Carrie Underwood has been forced to postpone an upcoming concert in Texas as flash floods sweep through the Houston area.
The Jesus Take The Wheel star is currently on her Storyteller World Tour and was originally slated to make a stop at the city's Toyota Center on Tuesday (19Apr16), but the gig has been moved to next week (25Apr16) as a safety precaution for ticket holders.
A statement on her website reads: "Due to the severe weather and flooding in Houston today, the Carrie Underwood concert scheduled for Tuesday, April 19 at the Toyota Center has been moved to April 25 so the fans can focus on taking care of their families and friends. Stay safe Houston."
The greater Houston area was hit by severe weather early on Monday (18Apr16), with surging waters flooding homes and highways and leaving two local residents dead.
Carrie still took the stage at San Antonio, Texas' AT&T Center on Monday, and is expected to continue her tour in Bossier City, Louisiana on Friday (22Apr16).
