Beyonce, Kevin Hart and Serena Williams have all been included in the 2016 Ebony Power 100 list.
Ebony magazine has honored the heroes of the black community for over 70 years, and annually celebrates inspirational African-Americans.
Each year celebrities, corporate heads and civic leaders are recognized for their work, with Chance the Rapper, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, NFL player Colin Kaepernick and Nike brand president Trevor Edwards also making the cut this year.
It’s not just career success that’s been taken into account, with Ebony editor-in-chief Kyra Kyles explaining that the winners have all used their achievements to "improve various facets of black life and render us visible on the world stage."
The full list will appear in the December issue of the magazine, and will feature four different covers. Selma director Ava DuVernay, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, who won gold in Rio, and musician-producers John Legend and Nas are the four cover stars.
