Actress Bella Thorne is helping to adapt popular young adult novel Drink, Slay, Love into a TV movie starring her ex-boyfriend Gregg Sulkin.
The Blended star is serving as a co-executive producer on the film, which is based on the vampire book of the same name by Sarah Beth Durst.
Drink, Slay, Love is currently in production, and features The Fosters actress Cierra Ramirez as lead character Pearl, a 16-year-old vampire who discovers she is no longer allergic to the sun.
The project reunites Bella with her Perfect High director Vanessa Parise and officials at the Lifetime network, who will air the blood-sucking new film early next year (17), reports Deadline.com.
Bella's ex, Sulkin, also stars in the movie. The news of her involvement in Drink, Slay, Love emerges just over a week after the couple's split hit headlines after a year of dating. The former Disney star, 18, has since revealed she is bisexual.
