Oscar winner Anne Hathaway is set to face the big freeze in a chilling new movie, as a coma victim who wakes up in a cryogenic chamber with no memory.
The actress has signed on to front O2, which is based on a script written by wannabe Quebec screenwriter Christie LeBlanc, according to Deadline.
The single mom wrote the script and sent it unsolicited to executives at Beverly Hills film and television production, finance and management company Echo Lake Entertainment, who helped LeBlanc perfect the story, turning it into one of the most sought-after yet-to-be produced projects in Hollywood circles last year (16).
Hathaway's character will have to escape the cryogenic chamber before her air runs out.
A director has yet to be announced.
