Anna Faris is "nervous" about her upcoming memoir release.
The Mom star is gearing up to release Unqualified next month (Oct17) and she is beginning to feel anxious because she opens up about personal life in the book.
"I feel really, really nervous because it feels intimate," she said on her Unqualified podcast on Tuesday (05Sep17). "I'm excited and when I first got the book deal, I thought, 'What a great adventure this is going to be,' and now that it's getting closer, I feel nervous in a sense that I've been able to always hide behind characters.
"Now it's like, 'This is me!' It feels a little scary!"
Unqualified will reveal Anna's "unique take on how to navigate the bizarre, chaotic, and worthwhile adventure of finding love", a press release reads.
The book's release follows the actress' split from husband Chris Pratt, who has written the foreword for the memoir.
Following the split last month (Aug17), several excerpts from the book were released, including one in which Chris describes his former wife as "powerful and terrifying".
"She is fierce and very loyal, she rarely punishes people. But when she does, it's powerful and terrifying, and when it's over, it's really over," he writes.
In another excerpt Anna pays tribute to her former husband and his good nature, writing: "When I looked back at my marriage, and many of my relationships before it, I realized I had always equated cynicism, discontent, and anger with intelligence, and getting together with Chris made me re-examine that.
"It made me realize that being with someone who was well-liked and popular actually made me happy."
