Amanda Bynes is planning to revive her acting career in 2018, according to her lawyer.
The former child star last appeared in 2010 teen comedy Easy A, following which she became more famous for her personal problems.
Amanda gave her first interview in four years in June (17) and revealed she had been sober for almost three years and was looking to get into acting again, and her lawyer has now hinted she will be back onscreen in 2018, the year she finishes her studies at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).
"Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year," her lawyer told New York Post gossip column Page Six on Thursday (28Dec17). "In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toes back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback."
In her interview to Hollyscoop founder Diana Madison, Amanda revealed she was keen to get back to her acting roots and work on a TV show, seven years after claiming she was retiring from Hollywood, although she later insisted it was just an extended hiatus.
"I do miss acting and I actually have something surprising to tell you: I'm going to start acting again," the 31-year-old explained. "I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of, and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it."
