Amanda Bynes hoping to go back to college
Amanda Bynes is hoping to enrol in college to study fashion design following her stint in rehab.
The Hairspray star has been under the care of medical staff since July (13) when she was hospitalised on a mental health evaluation hold after she allegedly set fire to a neighbour's driveway.
The incident came after months of bizarre behaviour and Bynes
subsequently spent time undergoing rehab treatment.
She has now been released from The Canyon clinic in Malibu,
California and is staying with her mother Lynn Organ, and a
statement from a family attorney reveals Bynes is now hoping to go
back to school so she can eventually pursue a career in
fashion.
The statement reads, "She's now looking at various colleges with
the intention of majoring in fashion design. She's mentioned before
she's interested in creating a clothing line."
However, the actress will continue to receive treatment for her
mental health issues: "Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a
facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing."
