Adele lands 13th week at the top of the charts
Adele has returned to the top of the album charts to land her 13th week at number one this year (11).
Her hit album 21 has now landed the most weeks on top since the Titanic soundtrack spent 16 weeks at number one in 1998.
To get back to the Billboard 200 summit, the album sold 106,000
copies last week - the eighth week in a row the album has sold more
than 100,000.
The album has now sold a total of 4.1 million copies in this
country alone.
And it's another chart double for the British star - her ballad
Someone Like You has landed a fifth week at the top of the singles
countdown.
Christian rockers Casting Crowns debut album Come to the Well was
at two and Scotty McCreery's former chart-topper jumps up a spot
from four to three.
Evanescence's eponymous album and Tony Bennett's Duets II round out
the new top five.
