The Kings Of Summer star Nathan Keyes has been cast as Justin Timberlake in a new Britney Spears TV biopic.
The young star, who also appeared in Ben 10: Alien Swarm, will join Australian actress Natasha Bassett in the upcoming Lifetime project, titled Britney Jean.
The cast also features Clayton Chitty as Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline, Nicole Oliver as her mom Lynne, Matthew Harrison as Britney's father Jamie Spears, Tamara Thorsen as Jenna Dewan, and Peter Benson as her longtime manager Larry Rudolph.
Jason Alexander, Britney's ex-husband of just 55 hours, also features in the TV movie - he'll be played by Kelly McCabe.
The biopic will focus on the "tumultuous true story" of the pop star's rise to fame, fall, and her subsequent triumphant return. NCIS director Leslie Libman is taking charge of the project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will follow Britney's humble beginnings in Kentwood, Louisiana, her success as a child star, and her personal struggles following her parents' divorce.
Production on Britney Jean has begun and the movie is slated for a premiere on Lifetime in 2017.
